About Us

One of the first charter schools in Texas, Medical Center Charter School has a unique program including Montessori, classical, multi-lingual, and Singapore math.  A small school with personal attention, the school offers challenge to gifted students and the support for all students to achieve.   All children from Pre-Kindergarten 3 and 4 Year Olds through Grade 6 are encouraged to apply.  We intend to offer Grades 7 and 8 when feasible.

The Montessori program is offered from PK through Grade 2.  The classical program is offered in Grades 3-6.  Art and music are offered from Kindergarten, and most students take Latin, Spanish, and French.  Singapore mathematics presents the world standard for mathematics achievement.  The curriculum includes science, technology, history, geography, physical education, and health.

There is no tuition charged for the school and books are furnished.  Parents are asked to purchase school supplies and uniforms.  Before and after school programs are available for a fee.

our goal
It is our goal to observe the child maturing into a person of high moral standards and integrity who can think clearly and make good choices in leadership. We hope to encourage the child to develop into a person who is self-aware, in control of himself, who has a personal vision led by principles, and who interacts with his environment and other people with effective communication and creativity.
